Branicks Group AG has reached a substantial agreement with its key creditors. This agreement enables the implementation of the restructuring concept, which was published via an ad-hoc announcement on 30 July 2026. The agreement is significant as it ensures the concept's implementation despite the rejection of agenda item 4 (approval of consultancy agreements) by the extraordinary general meeting on 9 October 2026.
A further obstacle to the comprehensive implementation of the restructuring concept was removed by the acceptance of the election of the new supervisory board members. Within the scope of the aforementioned general meeting on 9 October 2026, by-elections to the supervisory board were held under agenda item 3. Dr. Matthias Danne and Dr. Johannes Conradi, both of whom were elected, have accepted their respective elections.
Appointment of the Supervisory Board
Concrete proposals have been put forward for the future leadership of the supervisory body. It is intended to propose Dr. Matthias Danne as a candidate for Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Johannes Conradi is to serve as his deputy. This appointment creates the necessary personnel stability at the supervisory board level, which is essential for the upcoming restructuring phases.
The company had informed about the aforementioned hurdles on 9 October 2026. With the agreement now reached with creditors and the acceptance of the supervisory board mandates, essential conditions for the implementation of the restructuring concept are considered met. This marks decisive progress on the path to the long-term safeguarding and realignment of the company.
Branicks Group AG expects that all further prerequisites required for the implementation of the restructuring concept will also be met as planned. The full realisation of the concept is thus forecast for 31 December 2026 or, at the latest, 31 March 2027. This timeline signals clear planning and tight management of the restructuring measures, which are crucially important for stabilising the company's finances.
