Digital investment and brokerage platform Webull has signed a long-term lease for 41,781 square feet of office space at 140 Broadway in Lower Manhattan's Financial District. Under the agreement, the company will occupy the entire 41st floor as well as part of the 40th floor of the prominent office tower.
According to advisory firm Colliers, which represented the tenant in the transaction, the lease term is ten years. The asking rent was not publicly disclosed. Recent data from Colliers indicates that the average prime rent for office space in Lower Manhattan stood at $64.88 per square foot in the third quarter of 2026.
Significant space expansion in the Financial District
With the upcoming relocation, Webull is vacating its previous premises at 44 Wall Street. The new lease increases the financial services company's office space by 81 per cent. The exact timeline for the move into the new offices has not yet been determined.
Robert Gallucci of Colliers, who advised the tenant on the deal, stated that for a company at this stage of development, location decisions above all require anticipating the future direction of the business. He added that the long-standing partnership with Webull helped to precisely analyse priorities and secure a working environment in which the company can reliably grow.
Landmark building with modern infrastructure
Constructed in 1968, the office building at 140 Broadway is widely known for artist Isamu Noguchi's sculpture The Red Cube, positioned in front of the main entrance facing Broadway. The landlord, 140 BW LLC, was represented in the lease negotiations by Dan Appel and Hal Stein of brokerage Newmark.
