US home furnishings and textiles specialist Indecor Home has signed a long-term lease for 16,806 square feet of office and showroom space in Manhattan. The company is taking the entire fifth floor of the commercial building at 247 West 37th Street in the Garment District, owner GFP Real Estate announced on Wednesday.
Indecor Home, known for designing and manufacturing bathroom accessories, shower curtains, rugs and other home textiles, is relocating its headquarters from its previous address at 240 Madison Avenue to the Midtown property. The term of the newly concluded contract is ten years.
Consolidation of administration, design and showroom
The newly leased floor will bring several corporate divisions under one roof. The layout provides accommodation for executive management, sales and the design team, alongside a spacious showroom to present the latest home decor product lines.
Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord in the transaction. He explained that Indecor Home required sufficient space to combine workspaces with showroom facilities, and that the full floor at 247 West 37th Street offered the necessary flexibility. The property continually attracts businesses that value a central Manhattan location and adaptable working environments. David Menaged of Intrepid Real Estate Group acted for the tenant.
Market environment and property profile
The contracting parties released no official figures regarding the rental rate. Data from property services firm Colliers indicates an average prime rent of $85.08 per square foot for office space in Midtown Manhattan in the third quarter of 2026.
Constructed in 1924, the office building at 247 West 37th Street comprises 19 storeys and a total area of 271,000 square feet. Other occupiers in the building include security services provider Heightened Security, knitwear manufacturer Knit Illustrated and clothing company AJC Trading.
