Edge, a developer and investor in sustainable real estate operating across Europe, has announced a change in leadership. Marian Herman has stepped down from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. Edge has appointed Boudewijn Ruitenburg as the new CEO to succeed him.
This change in leadership is due to a decision by the shareholders and the board of Edge to undertake a strategic reorientation. Against the backdrop of current market changes, the necessity for an increased focus on the company's core strategies was identified. This concentrated strategy stipulates that Edge will continue to develop, refurbish, and invest in real estate projects in the office and residential segments. Furthermore, asset management services for partners and clients will be continued.
