f you haven't received your 2024 Marion County real estate tax bill by January 23, contact the Treasurer's Office at 740-223-4030. Bills are due on February 5 to avoid penalties. They're full-page documents with an orange and white design, according to Treasurer Jan Draper.
To report a missing bill or update your address, call the Treasurer's Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Payments can be made at several banks, including Premier Bank, First Citizens Bank, and Fahey Bank, until February 5. You'll need to bring your bill with you.
Alternatively, payments can be mailed or made in person at the Treasurer's Office, located in the Marion County Building at 222 W. Center St., during business hours. Credit and debit cards are accepted in the office and online, but come with a 2.5% fee. Online eCheck options also have fees ranging from $1.25 to $1.50.
