H
ere are the neighborhoods with high turnover and rapidly rising home prices in our area. The following chart tracks residential sales for single-family homes, condos, and townhouses from 2020 to 2024 in over 350 neighborhoods across Arlington, Falls Church, and McLean.
The data includes figures on the number of homes sold, average sale price, and average days on market (DOM) in each neighborhood. Condo buildings are listed as individual subdivisions, with a minimum of 15 total sales during the last five years. However, totals for each ZIP code reflect all sales within that area, not just those in the shown neighborhoods.
The data set has been expanded to account for misspellings and inconsistencies in subdivision names, which may have changed over time. Some historical data may vary slightly from previous years' charts due to real estate agents entering sales into the database retroactively. A designation of "NR" indicates no reported sales for that year.
