orthwood Office's Ballantyne Corporate Park has seen significant leasing activity this year, with over 573,000 square feet of office space secured through leases, renewals, and expansions. The 4.5 million-square-foot complex, comprising 41 buildings at 13024 Ballantyne Corporate Place, is now 70% leased. Key transactions include Lennar Carolinas' 27,900 square foot lease at the Calhoun Building, Premier's extension of its 146,000-square-foot lease at the Betsill Building, and CrossCountry Mortgage doubling its footprint to 16,000 square feet in the Harris Building.
The success can be attributed to the complex's rich amenities, which have been a major draw for tenants. Northwood has also delivered The Bowl at Ballantyne, a 70,000-square-foot dining and retail district, and is currently constructing 350 upscale apartments. Other recent additions include Stream Park and The Amp Ballantyne outdoor music venue. Looking ahead, the first Wegmans grocery store in Charlotte is expected to open at Ballantyne in 2026 as part of Northwood's $1 billion-plus development push, Ballantyne Reimagined.
