gypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson are back for Season 4 of Married to Real Estate, helping more families in the Atlanta area find their dream homes. As a one-stop shop, Egypt brings her expertise as a real estate broker and designer, while Mike's skills as an expert builder help transform properties into stunning spaces that stay within budget.
The dynamic duo also returns to Clark Atlanta University for another round of renovations, adding to their already busy schedules running their property business and raising their two daughters. In the premiere episode, they work with a couple from New York City who are making a big move to their first home in Atlanta.
Egypt recently received the Vanguard Award at the BronzeLens Women SuperStars Awards, an honor she's grateful for as it recognizes her dedication to empowering women in business. She and Mike enjoy showcasing what Atlanta has to offer through their show, highlighting the city's unique blend of urban and natural beauty.
Their working dynamic has evolved over the years, with Egypt describing it as a "long time coming" to reach this point where they can create something spectacular together. This season's projects tested them, particularly the renovation at CAU which had a tight deadline and required long hours.
The couple is excited to meet new clients this season, including two of Egypt's best friends who are getting their homes renovated. Mike shares that he's from New York City, so he could relate to the challenges faced by the couple from NYC who are featured in the premiere episode.
Egypt and Mike have been raising their daughters Kendall (12) and Harper (5), who are developing their own personalities and interests. They're also navigating the ups and downs of parenting, including Harper's recent interest in modeling.
As part of HGTV's growing diversity, Egypt and Mike feel honored to be a part of it and see themselves reflected in the industry. They've leaned on other couples they've met through competition shows for support, including Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt from Rock the Block.
Egypt has her own goals outside of the show, including launching her own furniture and textile line which will be available at major retailers like JC Penny and Wayfair this May. She's also dedicated to her nonprofit, providing resources and mentorship to women in business.
Looking ahead, Mike hopes to tackle a commercial project like renovating a restaurant from start to finish, while Egypt is open to exploring new locations for the show and even living overseas with their family.
