u-Delà Real Estate, a boutique firm based in East Hampton, has launched to serve the East End. Founder and broker-owner Jessica Fingleton, who earned her real estate license in 2018, left Douglas Elliman and Compass to start her own business. She wanted more autonomy to provide personalized service and make decisions that benefit clients.
Fingleton's sales partner at Compass and Douglas Elliman, Clare Ambrose, joined her at Au-Delà, which now has five agents. The firm plans to expand its team. Fingleton emphasized their focus on local clients who live and work in the area: "We're here to help out the local people and ensure they get a fair deal."
Au-Delà's name reflects its commitment to exceeding client expectations. Fingleton chose it after discovering that her initial choice was unavailable. The French word "au-delà" means "beyond," which suits the firm's approach to going above and beyond for clients.
The company is already demonstrating this philosophy by helping a client sell her house through an estate sale, alleviating her of logistical concerns. Fingleton also offers guidance on selecting reliable tradespeople after a home purchase, leveraging her husband's 20-year experience in electrical contracting with Fingleton Electric.
Au-Delà's temporary office is located at 320 Three Mile Harbor Road, with a permanent space at 144 North Main Street set to open soon.
