ashville, Tennessee – For more than four decades, Onward Real Estate has kept a holiday tradition alive. The brokerage, a cornerstone of Middle Tennessee’s community, continues its Christmas for the Children program, delivering gifts to nearly 200 kids each year, supporting over 10,000 children, and raising over $500,000 for families in need.
The initiative began when agents wanted to honor Bob Parks with a gift that mattered beyond personal recognition. They chose to give back, launching a project that has grown into a celebration of generosity. Today, Bob and his wife Marie serve as advisors within Onward, embodying the firm’s culture of service and philanthropy.
Funding comes from agent contributions and the annual Tyler Morrissey Golf Tournament, a long‑standing supporter. “This tradition showcases the best of our people and purpose,” CEO Jenni Barnett says. “Christmas for the Children reflects Onward’s commitment to being a trusted partner and ensuring children and families feel supported during the holidays and beyond.”
As the company expands, it remains dedicated to preserving this legacy of giving, strengthening communities, and keeping generosity at the heart of its mission.
