Bond Villa, a former Sean Connery retreat in the South of France, lists for sale at a reduced price.

French Riviera estate, former Bond hideaway, offers a license to relax.

A
luxurious French Riviera estate once owned by Sean Connery, the original James Bond, has hit the market with a price tag of approximately $26.4 million. The Art Deco residence, known as Villa Roc Fleuri or the "Bond Villa" to locals, boasts breathtaking views of Nice and Cap d'Antibes from its prime spot at the foot of Mont Boron.

Built in 1930, the 10,000-square-foot main house retains its original charm with features like mosaic inlays, wood paneling, and a vintage elevator. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom layout includes a spacious primary suite on the top floor with access to panoramic terraces. Outdoor amenities include a rooftop deck with a built-in barbecue, manicured lawns, and a network of garden pathways leading down to the rocky shoreline.

The property also features a spa area with a gym and an indoor/outdoor heated infinity pool, offering dramatic sea views that "feel like they're overflowing into the sea." In addition to the main villa, there's a separate caretaker's residence and a guesthouse near the entrance. The current owners, who purchased the home in 2015, have modernized the systems and redesigned the grounds with new gardens and sea-access pathways.

The property was previously listed for $33.8 million in late 2020 but is now being reintroduced at its reduced price of $26.4 million. Connery also owned another property in the region, Domaine de Terre Blanche, a château that he later sold to billionaire Dietmar Hopp and was converted into a luxury resort.
