A
luxurious waterfront condo in Williamsburg topped the list of pricey deals in Brooklyn's holiday season, according to Compass' weekly report. The two most expensive contracts signed last week went to condos in Williamsburg and Dumbo, with a penthouse at One Williamsburg Wharf asking $7.2 million. If sold at this price, it would be the priciest sponsor sale in the neighborhood.
The Naftali Group's development at 480 Kent Avenue has seen several units go into contract, including a penthouse with an asking price of $4.8 million and another for $3.8 million. The top-floor unit spans nearly 2,700 square feet, featuring three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a large terrace.
In Dumbo, Unit 27B at the Olympia Dumbo condo building signed a contract for $6.6 million. This three-bedroom, three-bathroom unit has stunning views of the Manhattan Bridge and an asking price per square foot of $2,531.
The luxury market in Brooklyn remained strong last week, with 28 contracts signed totaling $86.9 million. This outpaced last year's pre-Christmas performance and even surpassed the 2021 boom time. The median asking price was $2.8 million, and homes that went into contract averaged 118 days on the market.
