ondo sales and dollar volume declined in Broward County during the second week of January. From Jan. 5 to Jan. 12, brokers closed 76 condo sales totaling $24.8 million, a decrease from the previous week's 100 sales worth $34.5 million. The average sale price dropped to $326,342, down from $344,588 in the prior week. However, the average price per square foot increased to $281 from $271.
The top 10 condo sales ranged from $490,000 to $2.2 million. Unit 1201 at AquaBlu topped the list with a $2.2 million closing after 270 days on market, selling for $681 per square foot. The second-highest sale was unit 3804 at 100 Las Olas, which closed for $1.6 million or $857 per square foot after 146 days.
