CREC MLR Hosts Seventh Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards to Honor Achievements and Largest Deals.

he Commercial Real Estate Council of Metro Little Rock (CREC MLR) honored outstanding achievements in the commercial real estate industry at its seventh annual awards ceremony on February 25. The event recognized significant transactions and contributions made by local brokers in metro Little Rock over the past year.

    John Flake, a renowned developer, and Timothy Grooms, an accomplished attorney, received Legends Awards for their dedication to the industry. Flake's illustrious career spans decades, with notable projects including the Simmons Bank building and numerous healthcare, office, retail, and energy solutions developments. His client portfolio boasts prominent companies such as Baptist Health, Walmart, and Verizon.

    Grooms is a founding member of Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC, representing clients in various transactional matters, including real estate and commercial lending transactions. He has negotiated hundreds of leases on behalf of major retailers and developers throughout Arkansas and the Mid-South.

    The Commercial Real Estate Impact Award was given to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Stella Boyle Smith Music Center, and Breckenridge Village received the Commercial Real Estate Project of the Year award.
