Central Massachusetts Realty Firm Expands to Worcester Amid Housing Demand

NextGen Realty Expands to Worcester Common, Enhancing Real Estate Services Beyond Greater Boston.

N
extGen Realty has expanded its real estate services beyond Greater Boston with the official opening of its Worcester office, marking its second location in Massachusetts. This strategic move underscores the firm's commitment to supporting growing demand for rental housing and real estate services in Central Massachusetts.

The Worcester office, operational since March 25, 2025, serves as a regional hub offering comprehensive services including rental listings, exclusive apartment leasing, and real estate support for renters, landlords, and developers. This expansion comes at a critical time as Worcester experiences a surge in housing demand driven by urban revitalization and population growth.

Led by Kimberly Donovan, a newly appointed partner and team lead for the Worcester region, the office brings local expertise and leadership to NextGen's next phase of growth. The launch coincides with a major milestone: a new exclusive leasing partnership for 560 residential units across nine buildings in collaboration with The Grid District, a downtown Worcester development.

NextGen's expansion strategy relies on its Boston Pads technology stack, a full-service real estate ecosystem powering digital operations, listings, and client engagement tools. The Worcester office will be fully integrated into this platform, providing agents and clients with access to New England's most comprehensive rental database.

"We're excited to open in Worcester," said Demetrios Salpoglou, CEO of NextGen Realty and Boston Pads. "This new office supports our vision of serving all corners of the Commonwealth, and Worcester is a natural next step." The Worcester office represents a significant chapter in NextGen's growth as the company seeks to scale its services and tap into emerging markets across Massachusetts.
