ERTILMAN BALIN ADDS KEY THRUST TO ITS REAL‑ESTATE PRACTICE

Certilman Balin, a Long Island‑based firm with 18 practice areas, has expanded its real‑estate and land‑use team by bringing in Keith Brown, former founding partner of Brown Altman in Melville, and several of his colleagues. Brown, who has more than three decades of experience advising corporate clients on complex real‑estate matters—including commercial litigation, zoning, land‑use regulation, development, and environmental compliance—joins as a partner. Matthew Ingber becomes of counsel, while associates Eileen Quinn and Donna Arzanipour (pending bar results) also join the firm.

The move strengthens Certilman Balin’s presence in Hauppauge, East Meadow, and Saddle Brook, New Jersey, and supports the firm’s strategic growth across Long Island and the tri‑state region. Brown’s client roster spans Fortune 500 companies, national retailers, banks, industrial property owners, multifamily developers, telecommunications firms, petroleum distributors, renewable‑energy companies, and small businesses. “Joining Certilman Balin is an exciting step for me and my team,” Brown said. “The firm’s depth of practice and long‑standing commitment to the region make it an ideal platform to expand the work we’re passionate about. Together, we’ll deliver even greater support and strategic counsel across all aspects of real‑estate and development.”

Howard Stein, managing partner and co‑chair of the Real Estate and Land‑Use group, welcomed the new partners. “Keith is a highly respected practitioner and thought leader in land use, zoning, and sustainable development. His expertise and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our clients throughout Long Island and the tri‑state area,” Stein noted.

Certilman Balin, founded in 1965, prides itself on a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to complex legal matters. Its 18 practice areas include banking and commercial lending, corporate and securities, land use and zoning, IDA, environmental law, real estate, litigation, elder law, and nonprofit law. “We’re proud to join a firm that shares our dedication to excellence and practical, results‑driven solutions,” Ingber added. The firm looks forward to collaborating on many significant projects with its newly expanded team.
