BRE has appointed Brett Gray as senior managing director and market leader in Charlotte, effective November. He joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was managing principal since 2017.
Gray will oversee business operations and strategy for CBRE's advisory services, including leasing, sales, finance, valuation, and property management. This move was announced on LinkedIn in August, but made public by CBRE today.
Compie Newman is transitioning to a new role within the company. Chris Connelly, President of CBRE's Advisory Services Group East, welcomed Gray, praising his reputation for building successful teams and client relationships.
Gray serves on the executive committee of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and has been recognized as one of North Carolina's most influential business executives by Business North Carolina. He holds a degree from UNC Chapel Hill.
"I'm excited to join CBRE, which boasts a strong financial position, top talent, and skilled leadership globally," Gray said.
