ealty of America is born from the rebranding and expansion of Realty of Chicago. The new entity will debut this week with a roster of around 2,000 agents across 23 US markets, boasting combined annual sales of $5 billion in 2023. This significant presence will shape the brand's footprint nationwide.
Founder Eddie Garcia established Realty of Chicago in Berwyn 12 years ago and has overseen its growth to 500 agents and $475 million in sales volume by 2023. Garcia, who immigrated to the US from Mexico with his family, emphasizes the importance of providing opportunities for homebuyers and aspiring agents.
Garcia is funding Realty of America through personal investments and revenue from related businesses, including title insurance and real estate training services. The company has partnered with industry leaders Mark Dimas, Erinn Nobel, and Peter Nobel to drive its expansion. As president, Dimas will lead the new entity, while Erinn Nobel takes on the role of chief culture officer and Peter Nobel becomes COO.
Realty of America faces the challenge of building brand recognition, a hurdle also faced by @properties when it expanded nationally. Garcia acknowledges the importance of technology in the company's future success, although specific details remain under wraps. The brokerage's navy blue for-sale signs are expected to appear across the Chicago area soon.
