nthem Citizen Real Estate Development Trust (the "REDT") has received expressions of interest and commitments that are expected to reach the maximum offering amount of C$82 million for its initial public offering of trust units. The REDT, a newly created investment trust, aims to indirectly own an interest in a mixed-use development project in Burnaby, British Columbia. The project will feature 372 condominium units, 200 market rental units, 73 affordable rental units, 176 hotel suites, and 4,881 square feet of retail space.
CIBC World Markets Inc. is the sole agent for the offering, which is expected to close on October 29, 2024. The prospectus for the offering is available on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.com. Investors are advised to read the prospectus before making an investment decision.
The REDT was formed primarily to own an interest in the mixed-use development project. Forward-looking statements made by the company reflect its current expectations regarding future events, including commitments and expressions of interest related to the offering, use of proceeds, timing of closing, and expectations for the project's development.
Management's assumptions include real property ownership and revenues, construction and development risks, obtaining necessary building permits, and government legal and regulatory changes. While management considers these assumptions reasonable, they may prove incorrect, and actual results could differ from current expectations due to various factors beyond the company's control.
Anthem Properties is a real estate development, investment, and management company with over 385 projects across Canada and California. The company strives to create better spaces and stronger communities through its diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and retail properties.
