ohen Seglias is pleased to announce the addition of Bran Mahoney as an attorney in its Washington, D.C. office, joining the firm's Real Estate Group. Mahoney will support the firm's growing commercial real estate practice in the Northeast, focusing on middle-market transactions.
Prior to joining Cohen Seglias, Mahoney worked as associate national commercial counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company and held roles at Cardinal Title Group and Washington Capital Partners. His experience includes representing the mortgage industry in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Evan Rassman, partner in the firm's Real Estate Group, stated, "Bran brings decades of experience in real estate law and sophisticated transactions. He will be a valuable asset to our clients." The firm's Real Estate Group handles complex commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, development, financing, leasing, and title insurance services.
Mahoney earned his J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School and his B.S. from Florida State University.
