(NYSE: HOUS), announced the winner of its inaugural AI Innovator of the Year contest, spotlighting agents who creatively apply artificial intelligence to real‑estate practices. Kanani Ching, Broker in Charge for Oahu at Coldwell Banker Island Properties in Hawaii, was named champion for developing a scalable AI framework that enables agents to produce hyper‑local, optimized content. Her six‑step system centers on a CustomGPT built specifically for real‑estate content, helping agents stay discoverable as buyers shift from Google searches to AI‑driven queries. The award was decided by live audience voting at the 2025 Gen Blue® conference, the flagship gathering that drew more than 2,500 affiliated agents worldwide. Gen Blue offered over 60 professional‑development sessions, including seven focused on AI, giving participants actionable insights into leveraging AI tools. Coldwell Banker also launched “AI in Action,” a new learning program available through Coldwell Banker University that teaches agents practical, responsible AI use to boost efficiency and competitiveness. “Our new courses and the AI Innovator of the Year underscore Coldwell Banker’s commitment to building an AI foundation across the brand,” said Jason Waugh, President of Coldwell Banker Affiliates. “The finalists’ strategies provide valuable case studies that will shape future learning initiatives and best practices.”
