C
ompass, the largest residential real estate brokerage in the US by sales volume, has acquired PorchLight Real Estate Group, a leading independent brokerage based in Colorado. Founded in 2005, PorchLight has established itself as a trusted name in Denver and Boulder markets through its personalized service, local expertise, and community commitment. The women- and LGBTQ+-owned brokerage closed $922.3 million in sales volume alone in 2024.

PorchLight's acquisition marks a significant expansion of Compass' presence in the region. PorchLight agents will gain access to more inventory, cutting-edge technology, and an extensive referral network, enabling them to better support their clients. "I'm excited to welcome PorchLight's talented agents who have built a reputation for exceptional client service," said Compass Founder & CEO Robert Reffkin.

Co-founded by Amy Bayer and Carol Bayer, PorchLight was built on the principle that agents thrive when supported through a people-first approach. This philosophy aligns with Compass' values, which prioritize agent development, strong leadership, and community support. "Joining Compass feels like the natural next step for us," said Amy Bayer. "We're excited to see our agents thrive in the years ahead with Compass."

As part of the transition, PorchLight agents will operate under the Compass brand and integrate into local operations while continuing to serve their clients and communities.
