ompass expands its roster with two boutique teams: the Tika Team, led by Tika Van Den Hurk, joins the Fort Lauderdale office after closing $500 M in sales over a decade. Van Den Hurk, formerly senior director of luxury sales at Douglas Elliman, cites Compass’s tech and support as key to delivering client service. Across the East Coast, Dave and Patricia Smith, a 20‑year Washington, D.C. duo who ranked in the top 1 % at Coldwell Banker, bring more than $50 M in annual sales to Compass, praising its tools for unlocking new opportunities.

    Michael Saunders & Company announced a new chief marketing officer, S.J. Yun, who brings television, broadcast and digital experience from The Durst Organization and Daniel Gale Sotheby’s. Yun will help shape the firm’s future as it opens its 18th office on Sanibel Island, adding a presence in Sanibel, Captiva and surrounding Gulf Coast communities. Founder Michael Saunders highlighted the island’s beauty and resilience, while President Drayton Saunders emphasized the firm’s commitment to Florida’s coastal markets.

    eXp Realty welcomed the Impact Group, a 31‑agent Denver team that closed $305 M last year and has topped the Denver Metro Association of Realtors rankings for two consecutive years. CEO Leo Pareja welcomed the team for its innovation and collaboration.

    Serhant’s New York headquarters now includes Emilia Bechrakis, who transitioned from law and title insurance to real estate alongside husband Ryan Serhant. The firm, known for the Netflix series “Owning Manhattan,” continues to grow its luxury portfolio.

    The Agency opened its 12th Pacific Northwest office on Camano Island, 90 minutes from Seattle, led by Managing Partners Ellen Bohn and Bob Wold. EVP James Ramsay noted the island’s potential as a key growth region.
