ashville-based Concord, a leading independent music firm with 125,000 artists under its umbrella, has leased a 32,000-square-foot penthouse at Wilshire & Palm in Beverly Hills. The sixth-floor space, located at 9171 Wilshire Boulevard, offers panoramic views and indoor-outdoor workplaces. Concord is set to move in this fall.
The building's landlord, Cruzan, purchased the 112,000-square-foot property in 2018 for $69 million and invested an undisclosed amount in renovations. The gleaming white building features vertical windows, crystal chandeliers, and modern furnishings, including a rooftop deck.
According to brokers Bryan Dunne and Danny Rainer of JLL, who represented Cruzan in the deal, the lease is part of a larger "flight to quality" trend, where companies seek best-in-class experiences for their workers. Dennis Cruzan, founding partner of Cruzan, stated that Concord was the ideal tenant they had envisioned for the building.
Beverly Hills is the fourth-largest office destination on the Westside, after Century City, Santa Monica, and Culver City. Concord manages licenses for songs and recordings used in entertainment projects, commercials, and public performances.
