Culver City Developer Plans 1,100 New Homes

Blackstone's Link Logistics seeks to replace Culver City office park with 1,100 homes and build 7-story Fox Hills apartment complex.

B
lackstone's unit, Link Logistics, plans to replace an 8.3-acre office park in Fox Hills with a large apartment complex. The project at 5757 Uplander Way would involve demolishing four office buildings and constructing three seven-story buildings with 1,077 apartments above ground-floor shops and restaurants. The development, designed by KFA Architecture, would include podium-type buildings, landscaped courtyards, and plazas.

The complex would offer mostly underground parking for 1,382 cars and receive density bonus incentives in exchange for 78 affordable apartments for very low-income households. Construction is expected to occur in three phases starting in early 2027 and finishing by the end of 2031, pending approvals including a zone change and general plan amendment.

This project is part of Culver City's plans to increase density in Fox Hills, with several commercial sites being converted into multifamily housing. Nearby developments include Lincoln Property's approved 309-unit apartment complex on Hannum Avenue and Reda Residential's proposed homes across the street from the Westfield Culver City Mall.

Culver City developer plans 1,100 new homes in upcoming project.
