In this capacity he will steer the organization’s data strategy, merge fragmented technology and data functions, expand internal systems, and manage data governance, system integration, and innovation delivery. Conroy returns to NAR after serving as its director of technology and innovation from 2019 to 2024, where he explored emerging tech and its impact on real estate.

He most recently served as chief technology officer for the California Association of REALTORS®, where he directed technology strategy, architecture, and product roadmaps, modernized legacy systems, consolidated platforms for better member services, and aligned cross‑organizational data. From 2017 to 2019 he led engineering and architecture for Consensys Meridio, a blockchain platform for real‑estate investment and trading. Earlier, he was director of information technology at the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®.
Conroy will officially join NAR in early January. He emphasized that as real‑estate technology accelerates, a unified data and innovation agenda is essential. He looks forward to collaborating across teams to ensure NAR’s platforms, infrastructure, and insights empower members and shape the future of the industry.
