own & Country Real Estate is joining forces with national brokerage firm William Raveis in a strategic partnership that will give William Raveis a presence on Long Island's East End. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the agreement, Town & Country's offices in six locations - Greenport, East Hampton, Mattituck, Montauk, Southampton, and Westhampton Beach - will be rebranded under William Raveis' umbrella. Founder Judi Desiderio and Managing Partner Janet Hummel will remain partners alongside over 150 sales agents.
Town & Country has been serving the luxury real estate market in the Hamptons and North Fork for nearly two decades, since its founding in 2005. According to Desiderio, the partnership with William Raveis will give their associates access to superior technology and support, allowing them to grow their businesses and better serve clients.
William Raveis, which was named Top Brokerage for 2023 by Inman, has over 4,500 agents in more than 140 offices across the East Coast. The company has been expanding through acquisitions of smaller real estate firms in luxury markets, including a recent deal with Jordan Real Estate in Nantucket.
"We're delighted to welcome Town & Country to our family company," said Bill Raveis Jr. "Our business model and entrepreneurial approach align beautifully."
