Eau Claire County Property Tax Payments Overdue After July 31st Deadline

au Claire County Treasurer, Glenda Lyons, reminds property owners that the second half of 2024 real estate taxes are due by July 31, 2025. To ensure accurate payment processing, include your payment stub or indicate the parcel number on your check or in a separate memo.

    Taxes can be paid through various methods:

    In Person: Visit the Eau Claire County Treasurer's Office at 721 Oxford Avenue during office hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday) and pay with cash, checks, money orders, debit cards, or credit cards.

    By Mail: Send checks or money orders payable to "Eau Claire County Treasurer" to 721 Oxford Ave. Suite 1250, Eau Claire, WI 54703. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for a receipt, if desired.

    Online: Visit ascent.co.eau-claire.wi.us/LandRecords to make credit and debit card transactions or e-checks. You can also reprint tax statements or receipts from this site.

    Dropbox: Place payment stubs and checks or money orders in an envelope marked for the Treasurer's Office outside the courthouse at 721 Oxford Avenue. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for a receipt, if desired.

    Please note that there is a fee for electronic payments: 2.35% with $1 minimum for credit and debit cards, and a flat fee of $0.50 for e-checks. Online tax payments must be made by July 31st to be considered timely. Tax amounts due and history can be found at ascent.co.eau-claire.wi.us/LandRecords.
