levate Aircraft Seating, a luxury airplane seat maker, is expanding in Huntington Beach by leasing a 280,460-square-foot facility at the McDonnell Center Business Park. The company, formerly Adient Aerospace, signed the lease with owner Prologis through Savills, which represented Elevate.
The new facility will allow Elevate to grow quickly and efficiently, occupying the space immediately. The company will also continue to use its existing 80,000-square-foot facility next door. Elevate was seeking a property with office space, which the two-story industrial building at 5701 Skylab Road provides.
Elevate Aircraft Seating is based in Bothell, Washington, and has facilities in California and Germany. The company was founded in 2018.
In other real estate news, Archer Property Partners and Real Estate Development Associates are converting a 78,000-square-foot office building at 3300 Irvine Ave. in Newport Beach into a medical outpatient building. The project is a joint venture between the two companies, which acquired the property for $18.5 million in 2023.
The Newport Beach Planning Commission approved the conversion plan in January 2025. R.J. Sommerdyke, principal at Archer, said that Newport Beach is a highly sought-after location for medical office space due to its low vacancy rate and lack of large blocks of contiguous space.
Serendipity Labs is opening a 39,000-square-foot hub on the 14th and 15th floors of the 3200 Park Center Drive at Pacific Arts Plaza in Costa Mesa. The workplace provider offers private offices, team suite options, drop-in coworking club memberships, and meeting room access on demand.
