acramento area real estate investor Ethan Conrad has hired two high-profile attorneys to defend him against three civil lawsuits alleging sexual battery. The lawyers, Camille Vasquez and Samuel Moniz, previously represented actor Johnny Depp in a 2022 defamation trial where they helped him win $15 million in damages against ex-wife Amber Heard.

    In the span of about two months, three women have filed suits against Conrad in Sacramento County Superior Court. Two of them claim he assaulted them, while the third alleges he made unwanted advances in exchange for a potential job. Conrad has described the lawsuits as "extortion attempts" and has even filed a cross-complaint in response to the first case.

    All three cases remain ongoing.
