yc Grousbeck, who stepped down as the Boston Celtics’ principal owner after the franchise’s $6.1 billion sale, and his wife Emilia Fazzalari are now reportedly enjoying the Hamptons. They just closed on a $58 million oceanfront estate at 165 Surfside Drive, Bridgehampton, a 2024 build that originally listed for $79.99 million and later $69.99 million. The property was sold by celebrity developer Joe Farrell, who also owns the nearby 155 Surfside, once on the market for $125 million.

The 8,600‑sq‑ft home sits on 1.24 acres with 125 ft of shoreline. Designed by Will Minnear Architects and constructed by Farrell Companies, it boasts eight bedrooms, 8.5 baths, and a 4,400‑sq‑ft rooftop terrace featuring a putting green. The main level centers on a great room and a chef’s kitchen, while an ocean‑front bedroom suite opens onto a pool terrace. An upper‑level master suite offers a private lounge or office, dual dressing rooms, and a spa‑style bath. Six additional suites provide outdoor access. The exterior includes an infinity pool, a heated six‑car garage, and a spa.

Grousbeck, who acquired the Celtics for $360 million in 2002, still holds shares and aims for more championships. The sale was handled by Compass broker Richard Steinberg, with Greg Gould and Dominic Couzens of Hedgerow, and was first reported by Behind the Hedges. Meanwhile, Farrell invested $17 million in a new oceanfront home at 42 Deforest Road, Montauk, setting a record for the Ditch Plains neighborhood.
