IFA's expansion in Coral Gables has seen a significant increase in its square footage, now totaling 75,000 square feet across four floors at 396 Alhambra Circle. This expansion is part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., with Miami being one of the host cities. The international soccer governing organization has leased an additional 15,000 square feet to their previously leased space, according to anonymous sources cited by Bloomberg. This move is seen as a permanent base for the Americas.

In other news, lifestyle brand Jenni Kayne has opened a new store in Palm Beach, marking their second store in Florida after Naples. The brand, which offers clothing, accessories, and home décor, has leased 871 square feet at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, as per their news release. The brand is headquartered in West Hollywood, California. The Palm Beach store is located at The Royal Poinciana Plaza shopping center, which spans a total of 180,000 square feet. The leasehold of the plaza is owned by Boston-based WS Development, while the property is owned by a trust led by Sidney Spiegel, according to records.

Lastly, a new Miami-based furniture and materials brand, Teyo, is set to open a showroom in Wynwood this fall. Founded by Matthew Auerbach and architect Artur Sharf, Teyo has leased 6,600 square feet at 25 Northwest 34th Street in Miami. The space will include a sales office, design studio, and lounge. Teyo will offer clients sourcing, custom design, installation, and construction services using rare natural stone, marble, onyx, travertine, and limestone furniture and fittings, as per their news release. Sharf is also co-founder of YoDezeen studio, which leased space at the Wynwood building last year. The one-story building is owned by an entity managed by Oren Alexander, who along with his brothers Tal and Alon Alexander, are facing allegations in civil lawsuits that they raped women over more than a decade. The FBI has opened an investigation into these allegations and has been speaking with women who allege they were assaulted by the brothers or witnessed the attacks. The Alexanders have denied these allegations.
