Saunders Real Estate Expands Southeast Presence with $38M Land Deals.

aunders Land, the land division of Saunders Real Estate, is expanding its operations into North Carolina. The company has welcomed two industry veterans to its team: Kenneth Chesson and Bill Frisbie. Chesson serves as lead broker and senior advisor, based in Williamston, while Frisbie holds the position of regional managing director and senior advisor, operating from Raleigh.

    This expansion marks Saunders Land's entry into a new market, joining existing operations in Alabama, Georgia, and Arkansas. The company aims to solidify its position as the region's leading land brokerage. Founded by Dean Saunders in 1986, the firm has undergone significant developments over the years, including partnerships with Gary Ralston and R. Todd Dantzler.

    Saunders Land specializes in commercial and land sales, having recently closed two notable deals totaling $38 million and covering 6,400 acres. The transactions included a 4,833-acre working ranch and timber property in Putnam County for $20.29 million and a 1,625-acre transitional property in Marion County for $17.92 million.
