ompass has expanded its South Florida operations by welcoming The Korman Group, a high-performing real estate team led by Michael Korman. Based in Compass's Boca Raton office, the group will serve clients across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Jupiter.

    Korman, founder of independent brokerage Korman Realty, brings a team that has handled over $400 million in transactions since 2019, including $100 million-plus in 2024. He expanded his firm to 40 agents across four offices, focusing on high-end residential sales.

    "We're combining the boutique intimacy of a founder-led team with the scale and sophistication of a national powerhouse," Korman said, highlighting Compass's cutting-edge technology, dedicated support, and collaborative culture as key factors in their decision.

    Korman has consistently ranked in the top 1% of U.S. real estate agents since 2019 and was recently named No. 10 agent in Boca Raton by individual sales volume. "Michael's reputation, vision, and track record for building high-performing teams aligns seamlessly with Compass' mission," said Jeff Polashuk, regional vice president at Compass.

    Joining Korman are several industry veterans, including Grant Winters-Gullo, Maggie Sarubbi, Brianna Lombardo, Dustin Opalka, and Anthony Paolini. This move marks the start of a new chapter for The Korman Group, with Compass providing the resources to further elevate their luxury real estate services in South Florida.
