GA Group, an asset disposition firm, and A&G Real Estate Partners are auctioning off 790 retail store leases and five distribution centers from JOANN, Inc. after its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in January 2025. The bid deadline is April 16, with the auction set for April 22 in New York.
The available leases cover a range of property types across 49 states, including freestanding stores, power centers, and urban retail corridors. "This diverse portfolio offers strong real estate fundamentals and prime high-traffic locations," said Michael Jerbich of GA Group.
A&G Real Estate Partners sees the auction as an opportunity to transform well-located retail spaces into thriving businesses. The retailer's intellectual property will also be sold as part of this process.
