F
ormer Chicago Bears lineman Nate Davis has adjusted the price of his Highland Park estate, reducing it by $1 million to just under $4 million. The 5,500-square-foot home, which features four bedrooms and five bathrooms, was initially listed for $5 million in December. Despite being a luxury listing in a market known for multi-million dollar homes, Davis's property is not immune to price adjustments.
Highland Park has seen several high-profile sales, including the recent sale of Michael Jordan's former mansion for $9.5 million after multiple price cuts. Another notable sale was Scottie Pippen's 10,000-square-foot Highland Park mansion, which sold for nearly $2.7 million after making multiple reductions in price.
Davis purchased his home on Wade Street for $2.3 million in May 2023 and is now looking to sell it for about $727 per square foot. The property features a Prairie Revival-style exterior, three fireplaces, and a butler's pantry. Recent renovations include new hardwood floors, stairs, and modern appliances in the kitchen.
The home adjoins the iconic Ben Rose auto pavilion, featured in the movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." Davis's agent, Paul Gorney of eXp Realty, continues to manage the listing.
