he brokerage industry is in a state of constant flux, with frequent mergers and acquisitions shaping the landscape. Here are some recent developments across the US:

    eXp Realty has made significant gains in Miami, welcoming ONEPATH Realty and Utah Life Real Estate Group to its network. ONEPATH, led by Abel Gilbert, boasts nearly $1.8 billion in sales since 2018, with its 102 agents closing over $187 million in sales volume last year. Gilbert sees eXp as a platform that empowers agents to build lasting legacies.

    Meanwhile, Utah Life Real Estate Group leader Spring Bengtzen has joined eXp after nearly four years at Real, bringing her team of 90+ agents and a combined $316 million in sales from 665 transactions last year. Bengtzen is eager to immerse herself in eXp's high-performing environment.

    The Real Brokerage has surpassed the 25,000-agent milestone, with nearly 1,000 new agents joining each month in 2024. The firm's recent addition of Spyglass Realty and its 140 agents has propelled January 2025 on track to be its fastest growth month yet.

    Payton Stiewe, a luxury real estate veteran, has joined Engel & Völkers Gestalt Group San Francisco as president, tasked with expanding the company's market share in Northern California. The appointment is seen as an opportunity to raise the bar for Bay Area real estate.

    The Agency is expanding its presence in Florida with a new office at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, led by managing partner Sara Becnel. Christie's International Real Estate has also reached an agreement with Mexico Real Estate Group to bring the brand into the Yucatan Peninsula, further solidifying its global reach.
