Jamestown building that has been converted into a code blue shelter was recently purchased by RTC Home Enterprises, LLC of Frewsburg for $120,000. The property, located at 917 Washington St., was previously the site of The Johanson Agency before it merged with J. Edwards Insurance Agency in 2018. In October, Recovery Options held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the location, which now provides temporary shelter to single men and women who do not qualify for county assistance and homeless individuals on nights when the temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
