Julia Haart rises from divorce with luxurious Tribeca home

Julia Haart's divorce yields $55 million Tribeca triplex and control of her business.

J
ulia Haart, a business owner and reality TV star, has emerged victorious in her divorce from ex-husband Silvio Scaglia. A judge's decision has awarded Haart control of their co-owned business, Freedom Holding, as well as a $55 million triplex penthouse at 70 Vestry Street in Tribeca. The lavish apartment boasts five bedrooms, two kitchens, and over 3,600 square feet of terrace space.

Haart also received significant financial compensation, including $7.4 million in unpaid management fees and half of the proceeds from a painting sale that initially netted Scaglia $2.9 million. Additionally, she gained power of attorney over Scaglia's equal interest in Freedom Holding, effectively giving her control of the company.

The divorce battle was contentious and lasted three years, with Haart accusing Scaglia of violating his fiduciary duties to their business by stripping it of $1.5 million. The couple's separation was further complicated by the presence of Netflix cameras documenting their drama on "My Unorthodox Life."
