he Katy-Fulshear real estate market saw a decrease in home sales in November compared to the same time last year.

    In seven local ZIP codes, there were 573 homes sold in November, down from 640 in November 2023. However, this number was higher than October's total of 567 homes sold. Four of the seven ZIP codes experienced an increase in home sales year-over-year, with ZIP code 77493 being the most active at 209 homes sold.

    The $250,000-$449,999 price range saw the highest frequency of home sales, accounting for 325 of the total 573 homes sold. In contrast, four of the seven ZIP codes experienced a decrease in median home sales prices year-over-year, with ZIP code 77423 seeing the largest decline at 9.69%.

    The highest median home sales price was recorded in ZIP code 77094 at $562,000. Meanwhile, six out of the seven ZIP codes saw an increase in the average number of days homes spent on the market. Homes sold quickest in ZIP code 77094, with an average of 16 days on the market, while homes in ZIP code 77423 took the longest to sell at an average of 78 days.
