entucky Realtors, the state's largest professional realtor association, has released its latest housing market data for April 2025. The total volume of real estate sold in Kentucky reached $1.22 billion, a significant increase of 12.2% from March and 3.4% from the same period last year.

    Key statistics for the month include:

    * Total sales volume: $1.22 billion

    * Number of listings sold: 4,057 (up 12.5% from March)

    * Median sales price: $263,000 (down 0.76% from March but up 2.8% from last year)

    * Days on the market: 16 days (down 9 days from March)

    New listings also saw a significant increase, with 6,188 properties added to the market in April, representing a 5.6% rise from the same period last year.

    According to Kentucky Realtors President Barb Curtis, "Our market remains strong, with continued month-over-month increases in sales volume and new listings." The association's CEO, Josh Summers, also noted that buyer confidence is on the rise, as evidenced by the steady increase in new listings.
