entucky Realtors released January 2025 housing market data, showing a strong start to the year. Total sales volume reached $828.9 million, up 1.7% from last year and reflecting a 15.2% increase over the same period in 2024.
Key statistics for Kentucky's real estate market include:

* Days on the market: 30 days, a 6-day increase from last year
New listings surged to 4,209, a 23% month-over-month increase and a sign of renewed seller confidence. The median sales price continues to trend upward, indicating sustained demand for homes across the state.
While the average days on the market rose to 30 days, this timeframe remains healthy, allowing buyers more time to make informed decisions while maintaining a balanced market. Total inventory has increased to 4.4 months, demonstrating the strength of the Kentucky market.
"Kentucky's housing market remains strong, with steady demand and renewed seller confidence," said Barb Curtis, President of Kentucky Realtors. "We are optimistic about what is ahead in 2025."
