he La Salle County Treasurer's Office is alerting residents to the final deadlines for paying 2024 real estate and mobile home taxes. Any unpaid taxes not received by September 26 at 4:30 pm will incur a $10 certified letter fee. The last day to pay with personal checks and e-checks online is October 3. From October 4 onwards, only cash, certified funds, cashier's check, money order, and credit card will be accepted for payment. Credit card payments can be made online or in person until November 13 at 4 pm.
The last day to pay before publication in local newspapers is October 11. Unpaid taxes will be published the week of October 14. The drop box will close on November 13 at 3 pm, and all payments must be received by 4:30 pm that day.
