O
had Fisherman, a Florida resident and friend of the accused Alexander brothers, has surrendered to authorities in connection with a 2016 sexual battery case. He appeared in court on Wednesday alongside his wife, who had returned from their honeymoon in Japan the night before. The Miami-Dade State Attorney's office charged Fisherman with one count of sexual battery for allegedly assisting Oren and Alon Alexander in raping a woman.
Fisherman is not named in the federal indictment charging the brothers with sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, which alleges they assaulted over a dozen women across a decade. His lawyer, Jeffrey Sloman, stated that Fisherman "vehemently denies" the allegations and could be released later Wednesday. To secure his release, Fisherman agreed to wear an ankle monitor, surrender his passports, and post a $260,000 personal surety guaranteed by his wife and mother-in-law.
Fisherman immigrated to the US from Israel in 2012 and launched his own brokerage last October, just months after The Real Deal reported allegations against the Alexander twins. His business has reportedly suffered as a result of the scandal. Oren and Alon Alexander are being held at state detention centers in Miami, while Tal Alexander is being held at the federal detention center in Miami.
