ori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli's Hidden Hills mansion has resurfaced on the market, this time with a $16.5 million price tag - a million dollars less than its initial asking price last year. The power couple purchased the 11,808-square-foot contemporary farmhouse in August 2020 for $9.5 million, just as they were navigating their prison sentences for involvement in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.
The property, nestled in the exclusive Ashley Hills neighborhood within Hidden Hills' gated community, boasts six bedrooms and nine bathrooms across two stories. The neutral-toned interior features an open-concept design with high ceilings, maple wood floors, and a striking gray marble fireplace that stretches to the ceiling. A chef's kitchen with custom white oak cabinets, marble countertops, and high-end appliances is another highlight.
The primary suite boasts a fireplace, dual bathrooms, and views of the nearby Santa Monica Mountains. Additional amenities include a movie theater, home gym, and climate-controlled wine cellar. The manicured grounds feature olive trees, a swimming pool, spa, fire pit, bocce ball court, barbecue, and several seating areas.
Loughlin and Giannulli's decision to re-list their property comes after initially listing it in April 2024 before taking it off the market last October. According to Tomer Fridman of Christie's International Real Estate, "The sellers were uncertain about making a move, but now they're committed to their next chapter."
The couple's involvement in the Varsity Blues scandal led to prison sentences and fines. In 2019, they were charged alongside 51 others for paying scam mastermind William Rick Singer to secure their daughters' admission to prestigious colleges through inflated entrance test scores, bribes, and false claims. Loughlin and Giannulli initially pleaded not guilty but later agreed to plead guilty in May 2020, following Felicity Huffman's lead.
Their sentencing on August 21, 2020, resulted in Loughlin serving two months in prison and paying a $150,000 fine, while Giannulli received five months in prison and a $250,000 fine. Both were placed on supervisory release for two years, with Loughlin ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and Giannulli sentenced to complete 250 hours.
Loughlin is currently starring as a police officer in the Amazon Prime show "On Call," marking her first major acting role since the scandal.
