Luxury Queens Penthouse Boasts Borough's Highest Rental Price

Tallest Queens residential building's Long Island City penthouse lists for $11,500/month.

P
erched atop the Skyline Tower in Long Island City, a luxurious penthouse has hit the market for $11,500 a month, making it the most expensive rental unit in Queens and one of the priciest in New York City.

Located on the 67th floor, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom condo spans 1,547 square feet and offers breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, the East River, and the surrounding boroughs. The sleek, modern kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances, while two of the bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms.

Residents of Skyline Tower enjoy a range of luxury amenities, including a 24-hour doorman, concierge service, indoor pool, sauna, fitness center, game room, business lounge, pet spa, and valet parking. The building's prime location is just one subway stop from Midtown Manhattan.

According to listing agent Michael Chadwick, the penthouse is "the crown jewel of Skyline Tower Condominium" and offers a rare in-unit washer and dryer. While it may be pricey at $11,500 a month, Chadwick argues that it's still a bargain compared to similar luxury rentals in Manhattan, where prices can reach upwards of $45,000 to $50,000 per month.

However, the penthouse's reign as Queens' highest and priciest rental may be short-lived. BLDG Development's upcoming project, The Orchard, is set to become Queens' tallest building upon completion, although leasing won't begin until 2026.
