acKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services has launched a Healthcare Services Group, offering a full suite of real estate advisory services to hospitals and healthcare providers in the greater Maryland region. The group is led by Scott Wimbrow, President and Principal, who directs a seven-person team including 20-year real estate veteran Dennis Bodley.

    Bodley joins MacKenzie from LifeBridge Health, where he spent eleven years overseeing real estate functions, including site selection, acquisition, and disposition. He brings extensive experience in healthcare real estate to the group, which provides services such as site selection, transaction management, asset management, and construction management.

    The Healthcare Services Group aims to help hospitals and healthcare providers navigate financial pressures by providing sound advice on real estate decisions that impact operations and bottom lines. "Our team is adept at identifying opportunities and recommending strategies that increase revenue, reduce expenses, and position the healthcare entity for sustained growth," said Wimbrow.

    In addition to Bodley, the group includes Executive Vice President Chris Bennett, Tom Fidler, Senior Vice President Joe Bradley, Tom Mottley, and Matt Mueller. "MacKenzie offers a great platform for me to use my healthcare experience to help providers use their real estate more efficiently," said Bodley. "This translates to treating more patients in less space without compromising on quality of care."

    Wimbrow added that Bodley's experience and accomplishments make him a valuable addition to the team, which also includes expertise in retail, commercial office, capital markets, and asset and construction management sectors.
