Phoenix, Sept. 17, 2025 – Dorsey & Whitney LLP announces that attorney Marcie Shuman has joined its Phoenix Real Estate practice as Of Counsel. Shuman brings extensive experience in transactions for homebuilders, master‑planned communities, and commercial development, handling land acquisitions, state land patents, finished‑lot sales, and land banking. She oversees due diligence, title reviews, and closings, and drafts sale and development agreements, CC&Rs, easements, leases, public reports, and all documents essential to successful acquisitions and future residential or commercial hubs. Her corporate work complements her expertise in joint ventures, entity formation, independent service contracts, compliance, audits, and government service agreements for non‑profits.
Shuman earned her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs, and a B.S. from the University of Utah. She joins Dorsey from Gammage & Burnham PLC.
