**Editor’s note:** From statewide to local players, multiple‑listing services and Realtor associations form the backbone of residential real estate. Below are recent developments shaping the industry.
**MetroList expands into Calaveras County**
MetroList, the MLS serving over 20,000 Central Valley members, has partnered with the Calaveras County Association of Realtors (CCAR), which has about 250 members in a largely rural area. CCAR members will now access MetroList’s technology, database, and training resources. MetroList CEO Dave Howe said the collaboration strengthens the regional network and equips agents with essential tools. CCAR’s former president, Jesse Gibbs, noted the partnership secures the association’s future and benefits local communities.
**LIBOR launches Bridge2Business**
The Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR) introduced an affiliate program to boost local business exposure to its 25,000‑member network and create a new revenue stream. The Bridge2Business program offers advertising and sponsorship packages, helping businesses build visibility and connections within the Realtor community. LIBOR CEO Doreen Spagnuolo highlighted that members closed over $9 billion in sales this year, generating roughly $113,000 in local economic activity per home and supporting two jobs. The program aims to strengthen ties between Realtors and local businesses, benefiting both parties.
**MLS Grid adds IRES**
MLS Grid, a collaboration of more than 30 U.S. MLSs representing nearly 360,000 subscribers, welcomed Colorado’s Information and Real Estate Services (IRES) MLS. IRES, which serves six Realtor associations, will now use MLS Grid’s centralized data feed, designed for faster, more reliable data delivery. MLS Grid CEO Joseph Szurgyi praised IRES’s commitment to data integrity and innovation, while IRES CEO Jeff Bosch emphasized that the partnership provides brokers and tech partners with a seamless, standardized platform for the future of real estate data.
