Miami-Dade Condo Sales and Dollar Volume Rise in Third Week of December

ondo sales and dollar volume increased in Miami-Dade County during the third week of December. Brokers closed 151 condo sales totaling $145.2 million from Dec. 15 to Dec. 22, up from 102 sales worth $102.2 million the previous week. The average sale price rose to $961,594, a significant increase from the previous week's average of $846,364. According to Redfin data, the average price per square foot also increased to $620 from $564.

    The top 10 sales ranged from $2.4 million to $14.3 million. The highest sale was unit S-1009 at Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club in Surfside, which sold for $14.3 million after 122 days on the market. This sale worked out to $5,240 per square foot.

    Unit 4901 at Turnberry Ocean Club in Sunny Isles Beach took second place with a sale price of $7.6 million, or $2,097 per square foot, after 238 days on the market. The top 10 sales included properties from Miami and Surfside, with prices ranging from $618 to $5,240 per square foot.
